D. L. Moody l-a întrebat odată pe unul despre starea sufeltului său. ,,Nu-i treaba ta!“  ,,Ba este foarte mult treaba mea“, a răspuns Moody, iar omul a exclamat de-ndată: ,,Trebuie să fii D. L. Moody!“ Trebuie ca fiecare creștin să fie preocupar de starea celor din jur, fără teamă și fără nici o scuză.
