This sculpture is called “Memorial for Unborn Children/The Child Who Was Never Born” and was sculpted by Martin Hudáček from Slovakia. It was made not just as amemorial for miscarriages, but for aborted children as well. The child can be seen as comforting and/or forgiving their mother, which is part of what makes this piece of art so powerful. The artist is a devout Christian and is pro-life and loves children.
