November Wrap-up
November was a pretty good month for us. I’ve missed the wrap-ups for a few months (sorry!), so here are how things are looking lately.
- 198 thousand blogs were created.
- 207 thousand new users joined.
- 1.34 million file uploads.
- 2.5 million posts and 996 thousand new pages.
- 3.6 million comments.
- 20 million spam comments blocked.
- 2.9 million logins.
- 416 million pageviews on WordPress.com, and another 169 million on self-hosted blogs. (585 million pageviews total.)
- 554,812 active blogs in November, where “active” means they got a human pageview.

Iata-ma din nou (scuzabil, sper) de alta parere. Blog-ul si telefonul celular constituie doua din oglinzile moderne ale personalitatii noastre. Utile in sine, amindoua sunt extrem de expuse abuzului. Cita vreme poti sta cu celularul in buzunar fara sa-l folosesti, chiar daca n-ai nimic de comunicat, discutat, transmis, etc? La fel, cite articole afisate pe bloguri merita a fi citite? Se vorbeste la nesfirsit, se scrie fara pauza. Cauti calitate si nu gasesti. Adevarata vorba romanilor, “Non multa sed multum”.
Ne da ghes scrisul si vorbitul, ca nu ne ramine timp de meditat, gindit, cugetat. Ne afisam in afara in timp ce launtrul nostru lincezeste.
