 “Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.” – 1 Corinthians 15:58 (ESV) This is how the Kingdom moves forward. Week after week, in the same destitute villages and neighborhoods, visiting and ministering with people whose lives are never pretty. There are no large gatherings for our missionary and his name does not grace the headlines in the newspapers. On the right is Oleg C., one of our dear RMS missionaries that serve in Moldova.In the last months alone, Oleg helped organize evangelistic meetings for pensioners in Edinet and Trestieni, serving alongside a visiting team. In one of those gatherings, two elderly people repented and placed their faith in Christ. In villages like Balcauti and Rujnita, doors continue to open among older generations who carry long stories, quiet burdens, and deep spiritual need. Our RMS missionary also organized a regional meeting for teenagers; it gathered many young people from multiple towns, many of them not yet believers. “Many of them are non-Christians,” Oleg tells us. Yet they came, they listened, and seeds were planted. His outreach among children also continues in Trestieni. Every week, children from non-Christian families gather, receive a warm meal, and hear the Gospel. Whether it is inter-church youth meetings, harvest celebrations, or special event services, each moment is another opportunity to speak about Christ. There is nothing glamorous about Oleg’s mission. He doesn’t have large platforms. He doesn’t get any public recognition. Our missionary is just a man with godly drive, a local team, and a faithful rhythm of evangelism across villages and towns in Moldova. And through this quiet consistency, the Gospel keeps moving.
