Three elderly men went to a doctor for memory testing. The doctor began by asking the first man,

“What is five times five?” “191” was the answer. The doctor shrugged his shoulders and then asked the second,

“Okay, you tell me—what’s five times five?” “Wednesday,” replies the second man. The doctor again shook his head sadly and then asked the third man,

“Okay, it’s your turn. What’s five times five?” “Twenty-five,” came the immediate response.

“That’s great!” the doctor said. “How did you get your answer?”

“Easy—just subtract 191 from Wednesday.”
