It’s not a wish, it’s not a dream
You can’t create it with a scheme
True hope must come from up above 
And travels here with faith and love. 

Andy Dufresne* was surely right
He who had hope is filled with might
To overcome the hardest trial
When evil men spew hate and bile. 

While human hope we lift and praise
Because our spirit it will raise
We must remember Paul’s true claim
And share it without fear or shame: 

Our hope extends beyond our death
And we know that the final breath
Is just the doorway to God’s throne
Because this life is just on loan. 

Our earthly bodies will corrupt
And sickness our joy will disrupt
You may be rich, you may be poor
For death they’ll never find a cure.

They chase transcendence, so they cope
They’re meaningless lives now have hope
That some machine will save their soul
Eternal life is now their goal. 

Our conscious mind they try today
To free from God’s body of clay
And transfer all our thoughts and dreams
To end the agony and screams

Of those without belief to speak
Because they just refused to seek
The truth that God revealed to all
That His Son’s blood redeemed our fall. 

So let the scientists explore
Their Interstellar dreams and more
The hope of life beyond our star
Just proves how shortsighted they are. 

We live, we die, there’s nothing more
We have no spirit in our core
Humanity we all must save
There is no God, so just be brave. 

This humanist lie carries on
Because they bought the serpent’s con
They make Chance god without a doubt,
You speak of faith, you’re just a lout. 

God’s simple answer they refuse
His way to heaven they won’t use
Christ’s resurrection they still scorn
His Divine claim is still their thorn. 

The empty tomb our hope remains
Until we break these earthly chains
And join our resurrected King
With scores of angels as they sing.

So know once and for all today
When you bow knee and humbly pray
True Hope in Christ is yours forever
Because He died to save whoever. 

1 Corinthians 15:17
And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.
