Before You Say America is Going into Decline, Check Out US Map of States with GDP Size of Countries
A recent map created by the conservative American Enterprise Institute shows which country each state would represent, based on income:
According to the results, which came from information released by the Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Economic Analysis, shows that California’s the
highest grossing state with a GDP of $2.3 trillion. This roughly compares to Brazil, which has the eighth largest economy in the world.
Other top rankers are Texas with a $1,648,036 GDP, which matches up with Canada’s $1,788,717 million. Next in line are New York which matches up with Spain (at close to $1.5 million), and Florida which equates to the Netherlands with around $850,000.
