Preachers & Preaching

Earlier this month, The Master’s Seminary launched a new blog named Preachers & Preaching. If the name sounds familiar, it is an intentional hat tip to Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones’ famous work Preaching and Preachers. Since TMS exists to train future pastors with a specific emphasis on expository preaching, it is appropriate that the seminary’s new blog would point back to the legacy of one of recent history’s most distinguished expositors.

With that being said, the articles on Preachers & Preaching are not just for pastors and seminary students. They are intended to benefit and encourage the church at large, not just those in church leadership. Here are a few highlights from Preachers & Preaching from the last couple weeks:

1. John MacArthur offered 10 practical tips on how to have an enduring ministry
2. We were reminded of the need for pastors to pray for their people 
3. We were given four reasons why we should love the church
4. And we posted a review of the 2015 Summit on Biblical Inerrancy

Take a moment to check out the blog, as well as the redesigned seminary website. The Master’s Seminary is working hard to make many of its resources available online for free (from the TMS Journal to seminary chapels to the Theological Resource Center), with the goal being to edify the church at large. Preachers & Preaching is another avenue by which we are hoping to do that.
