The hunt is over: couple’s unusual engagement photo goes viral

A husband-to-be from Oregon proved he is ‘game’ for a laugh by posing as a captured animal in unusual engagement photo shoot

Stevie Beard is quite a catch, as his fiancée Brady Hogevoll proves in this not-entirely-traditional engagement photograph. Just don’t call him a trophy husband-to-be.

The couple from Oregon wanted to do something out of the ordinary when they announced to

friends that they were getting married, so they enlisted local photographer Joshua Rainey to take the picture below.

The image was taken on a property owned by Hogevoll’s parents. “They have over 150 acres along the Siletz River [in Oregon],” Rainey told Buzzfeed. “The whole family is very into elk hunting.

The image was posted on the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation’s Facebook page, and was soon shared over 30,000 times.

However, it seems that Beard and Hogevoll are not the first happy couple to turn their engagement into a big game hunt, as the following images posted on social media prove.
