Christian Pastor Zhang Shaojie Has Been Released After TWELVE YEARS WRONGLY IN PRISON!

Chinese pastor Zhang Shaojie has been freed after spending 12 years behind bars. His initial detention occurred in November 2013 following a dispute with local authorities over church-owned land intended for building a new church and ministry center.

In 2014, he was formally charged with “gathering a crowd to disrupt public order” and “fraud”—charges that church members believe were politically motivated to confiscate the land and suppress the church’s growth.

Upon his release, Pastor Zhang expressed deep gratitude to Christians around the world for their prayers. He said being released during the Thanksgiving season felt like “an outpouring of God’s grace.” He also acknowledged that without widespread prayer support, “I might not be here today and could have been forcibly disappeared.”
His 84-year-old mother, who never stopped praying daily for his freedom, was present to embrace him upon his return home.
