Roagă-te împreună cu noi

October 18-24, 2023

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Ephesians 3:20-21

To pray is an admission and an expression of dependence. A self-assured person is not going to pray prayers of petition; there’s no need to pray if you think you have got it all covered. A self-righteous person is not going to pray prayers of confession; there’s no need to pray if you think you’re good enough to earn God’s blessing. But the person who knows their heart before God—the person who knows the depth of their need of forgiveness and help from God—does what Paul does. They bow their knees [in prayer]. (Ephesians 3 v 14).

A NEW GENERATION ANSWERING

THE CALL

Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few;” (Matthew 9:37). This verse rings as true today as it did two millennia ago. An everpresent reality that Christians are constantly facing. We look around, and it is impossible not to become aware of the pressing need for workers in the mission field. Thankfully, for this problem, Jesus offers us a solution right in the next verse. (v. 38) “…therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”

As the new academic year has commenced in Romania, we invite you to pray with us for a few specific causes.

PRAY for the newly enrolled students at the theological seminaries. In a world of many appealing (and distracting) opportunities, they have chosen to dedicate their life to serving God and others.

PRAY for those entering their final year. May God provide them with clarity in regard to where they should serve. The needs are many, but the graduates are few.

PRAY for the theological seminaries and their leadership. They are facing many spiritual and material challenges in their goal of training a new generation of servants in the mission field.

The Romanian Missionary Society had pledged its support towards this vital cause. You can find out more about how we can help. Together we hope to witness a new generation of workers, involved in the most important harvest of all.More about this project
