Years ago in our conversation Dr. Joe Boot made an interesting observation. Church leaders that piously claim they want to keep politics out of the pulpit to avoid politicizing their congregation don’t actually protect their congregation from politics. By default, they simply allow their congregation to be politicized by Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, CNN, or for that matter FOX News.

Every congregation will be politicized. The only question is whether it will be politicized by the word of depraved man, or by the infallible word of God.
