Biblia prezintă personaje din diferite țări și popoare, vorbind împreună, de multe ori fără nici un traducător (dar nu întotdeauna). Mulți s-au potignit în lucru acesta, prezentând faptul ca pe o dovadă despre caracterul imaginar a  Scripturii.

Vă recomand un artiicol enciplopedic în care limba aramaic este dovedită instrumentul de comunicare internațional pentru lumea veche. Cartea profetului daniel este scrisă jumătate în ebraică, jumătate în aramaică, o ciudățenie care ancorează obligatoriu datarea cărții în perioada robiei, singura în care evreii au vorbit ambele limbi :
