OREGON: Pastor Scroggins’ emotional description of how a classmate saved his daughter’s life with his very own blood and body, and he discusses his conversation with Treven’s mother.

“She told me ‘Dad,I didn’t know anything to do but to pray.’ [The shooter] said to the woman next to Lacey, who he had already shot, he said to her– referring to my daughter Lacey, ‘Is she dead?’ The lady said, ‘I don’t know.’ And with that he crossed over my daughter and shot the next individual.”

“There was a gun shot that was so close to my head that my ears began to ring. I couldn’t hardly hear anything… Then all of a sudden she felt the weight of Treven as his body shifted over to Lacy’s. Daddy, I could feel his body getting heavier as he put part of his body over mine. I felt something so warm and I looked down under my arm and I saw his blood coming out of him and his blood was coming all over me, all over my arm, all over the side of me and at that time is when the shooter came up behind my daughter, stood over her and said ‘get up.'”
