There have been some pretty unusual sights in parts of the US following a series of enormous snowstorms

Chilly residents in northeastern United States have been sharing their remarkable snow photos online. Parts of New England have seen a record amount of snowfall in February, with more expected this weekend. Being surrounded by massive amounts of snow provides some fantastic photo opportunities as the images below show.
The mayor of Boston has even had to warn people to stop jumping out of windows into piles of snow as part of a new craze. Here are some of the best images from the US:
