This is a song I wrote to help me memorize π, since I can memorize music easier than strings of numbers. In my mind, I can hear the melody, and figure out the numbers.

“Thirty-nine decimal places of pi are enough to compute the circumference of a circle the size of the known universe with an error no greater than the radius of a hydrogen atom” apparently. I guess the rest of the digits are just there to show off?  http://youtu.be/OMq9he-5HUU

Listen to the melody that occurs when each number from pi (π=3,14) is assigned a note on the A harmonic minor scale…It’s astonishing and proves once more that this number is magical indeed…
Many formulae in mathematics, science, and engineering involve π, which makes it one of the most important mathematical constants. For instance, the area of a circle is equal to π times the square of the radius of the circle.
