I recently discovered a Ted Talk and then a website that is more valuable shared than kept for oneself out of embarrassment to talk about the subject.  I wish Fr. Babut (may he rest in peace) had this to share with us 10 years ago at our “Monday Club”.  He used to tell us that masturbating leads to insanity, but all of us knew those are nice 19th century stories concocted to scare us into holiness.  It didn’t work.  However, impotence backed by the latest neuroscience, researched by evolutionary atheists who have no interest whatsoever in how religious we are, might have proved more compelling.  I think this information is crucial for the youth in our churches.  And if we’re honest, it good for us married folks as well (a man who says he’s not attracted by a naked women is either gay or a liar).  The research on this subject is still in its infancy but it will get more in the front lines as our society will get more and more affected by this issue.  Thank God research is coming out to support what all of us knew all along:
