Ever thought you’d see the Christian testimony of Karl Marx?
That’s just one of the shocking revelations in “Marx & Satan,” a classic book by Richard Wurmbrand now available – and in the No. 1 position among best-sellers this week – at the newly redesigned WND Superstore.
Wurmbrand was the heroic pastor and evangelist imprisoned and tortured repeatedly by a Communist regime. He explored extensively the roots of Marx’ beliefs, and found that his first book was called “The Union of the Faithful with Christ.”
In it, Marx wrote, “Through love of Christ we turn our hearts at the same time toward our fellow brethren who are inwardly bound to us and for whom He gave Himself as sacrifice…”
So what changed Marx into the inventor of one of the worst tools of oppression to Christianity?
The turning point, according to Wurmbrand, was the university education Marx obtained, where he was taught a new “Christian doctrine” called “liberal theology.”
Wurmbrand exposes how Marx learned to hate God and Christians, and eventually joined a satanic cult of his closest comrades.
Why was Marx bent on the destruction of mankind? “We will never know for sure, but we do know what he wrote … ‘I wander godlike and victorious Through the ruins of the world, And giving my words an active force, I will feel equal to my Creator,'” the book explains.
It was in 1966 when Wurmbrand testified before the U.S. Senate on the torture of Christians and stripped to the waist to reveal 18 deep torture wounds on his body.
“This is a book that deserves to be in the library of every truly informed and freedom-loving person in the world,” said Joseph Farah, founder of WND Books. “But, more importantly, it needs to be read.”

Despre Fratele Wurmbrand s-a vorbit, si inca se va vorbi. S-a scurs destula cerneala sub multe penite, in incercarea multor frati de-ai nostri, de-a simpatiza cu unul dintre cele mai rare , si deosebite exemplare ale fratilor lui Christos.
Prin anii `90-`91 , pe cand eram inca studenta – era in perioada obositoare a examenelor – se zvonise in mai toate Bisericile Evanghelice din Bucuresti, ca a venit fratele Richard in tara , si ca in prima duminica va fi la ” Sfanta Treime “. Ma dusesem cu mari emotii sa-l revad ( il mai vazusem o singura data- live- insa stiam destule despre familia Wurmbrand, de la parintii si bunicii mei, care il cunoscusera cat se poate de bine, in cu totul alte conditii, inainte de-a ma naste eu ) si , desi foarte obosita , reusisem sa -mi gasesc chiar un loc bun in Biserica arhi-plina.
In momentul cand a aparut in sala – intr-un carucior – cu fata iluminata de Acel CEVA ce numai fratii lui Isus il poarta pe fruntile lor – am avut senzatia ca ISUS INSUSI venise intre noi. Mi se parea ca toti ceilalti apostoli- si Petru , si Pavel si Ioan – erau cu noi, si pana la urma, cerul intreg se pogorase , fara sa mai intrebe pe nimeni, pe pamantul nostru atat de profan. Stiu ca predica in seara aceea memorabila a fost despre Iubirea vrajmasilor- unul dintre subiectele sale favorite- insa, ceea ce traisem mai inainte, mi-a ramas ca un serios ” flash – back ” in constiinta.
Cartea prezentata a fost tradusa si in limba romana, si a circulat prin tara sub forma unei brosurele cu titlul ” Marx si Satan.” Eu apucasem sa o citesc chiar cu putin timp inainte de Revolutie, si am fost foarte marcata de forta Adevarului care transparea din paginile ei. Revolutia nu a facut decat sa intareasca afirmatiile fratelui Wurmbrand.
Da, cred ca ateismul este in esenta demonic, iar Marx, din nefericire, s-a lasat manipulat de cel rau. Mai important este ca in tot acest regim de teroare , au fost genunchi care nu s-au plecat inantea acestei fiare rosii furibunde si dezlantuite, si ” care nu si-au iubit viata chiar pana la moarte.” Viata lui Christos , prin extinctie , a fost traita si implinita in vietile lor.
